Weekday visitors to campus must obtain a parking pass at the Visitor and Undergraduate Admissions Center if they wish to park on campus.
A parking pass is not required to park at the center. Although passes to park on campus are not required on weekends, special parking rules prevail on days when the university is hosting home football and basketball games.
To facilitate the process of obtaining a visitor parking pass, the following information must be supplied when you enter the center: name, license plate number, and state where the vehicle is registered. The center’s staff will need this information before a pass can be issued.
Weekday parking rules are printed on the back of the pass, and the center's staff will be happy to explain these rules and direct visitors to appropriate parking areas. Note that visitor parking passes are distributed to visitors only. Virginia Tech students, faculty, and staff cannot use these passes.
